347-down with norse

today is casimir pulaski day. this holiday only celebrated in illinois is in honor of the great polish general of the revolutionary war. i'm not polish or anything, but i'm sure casimir would be proud of the way i defeated the norsemen last week. i'm surprised i've gone this long without mentioning fantasy sports since it's a minor obsession of mine. right now, is basketball season, which i hate. i only play it to get myself from the football season to the baseball season. however, last week was a good one as i defeated the norse (actually my friend ian's dad) 7-2 to catapult to 7th place. not much of an accomplishment, but it does make me the "best of the rest" (teams that don't make the playoffs).
